Alas, the Holy Prepuce has a day job. And on occasion, the time demands of this position preclude the sort of in-depth research and analysis on which his faithful readers have come to rely. Today, then, he can offer only these three quick hits, without further elaboration:

1. Darren Mack, the "millionaire swinger" currently on the FBI's Most Wanted List for the murder of his estranged wife and the sniper-style shooting of a family court judge, was in 1998 honored on a billboard as Reno Nevada's "Father/Husband of the Year."

2. A slate.com article about Mr. Mack ends with the sentence "we were somehow becoming their sherpas to madness." My assignment to each of you is as follows: at least once each day for the next seven days, you must incorporate the phrase "sherpa to madness" into ordinary conversation.
